Job Details
Currently seeking a Commissioning Agent to join a Full Service Systems Integration firm based out of Connecticut. This is a remote opportunity requiring 60% travel. The ideal candidate would have experience in one or more the following fields Mechanical Engineering, Chiller, Building Maintenance/ Building Automation Systems/HVAC Control, Facilities Operations Management, Building Commissioning.
Duties
Supporting commissioning and design work by reviewing project specifications and drawings to help create a firm design allowing for commissioning to clearly be integrated
Create functional performance test procedures for all types of facility HVAC and electrical systems building automation, HVAC, heating, hot water, lighting, steam, renewable energy systems, associated controls
Manage field inspections, overseeing equipment startups and test and balance
Manage field functional performance testing to verify and tune systems for optimum performance
Troubleshoot faulty systems, perform the technical analysis necessary to interpret system data, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
Assess, document, and write engineering reports of site observations, testing processes and checklists
Prepare clear and concise deliverables, including technical reports, Cx reports, system manuals, and assessments, that convey technical information suitable for both lay and technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in engineering, controls, chillers, or HVAC field
Commissioning work experience in the design, installation, or start-up of HVAC, electrical, building automation, lighting, or other building systems
OSHA 30 accreditation
Knowledge and interest in mechanical systems, or relevant trade experience (HVAC, controls, TAB, chillers, Cx, etc.)
