Manages a branch operation in generally one location providing escrow and related services, to maintain cost effective and profitable operations. Enforces performance and operating goals and objectives for branch and branch associates and monitors overall branch and associate performance.

Extensive experience in the title and escrow industry including residential, commercial, subdivision, and exchanges. Excellent supervisory skills. Professional communication skills. Computer skills. Prior management experience helpful. College level management courses helpful.

**Responsibilities**

* Manages a branch providing escrow and related services through subordinates, to maximize productivity and profitability.

* Gathers and reviews business information, pertinent to the operations, such as: Reports of operations, market forecasts, personnel data reports, etc.

* Frequently consults with management personnel of the company and of other companies, local civic leaders, and other individuals to obtain a variety of real estate and related business information.

* Researches printed material such as financial publications, trade and association journals, new legal and legislative bulletins pertaining to the title industry to keep knowledge current with changing business policies and procedures.

* Utilizes the above information to forecast or determine the local economy and its effect upon the organization and analyze current data information against budgeted goals and objectives, determining where corrective courses of action are necessary. Directs subordinates to such action as indicated.

* In conjunction with the Regional Manager, establishes long-range goals and objectives for the unit such as marketing programs, expansion to new locations, new or revised services and including internal goals of training personnel, affirmative action, salary administration, etc.

* Develops and implements programs in subordinate units and monitors the performance of both subordinates and programs towards attainment of overall Division goals and objectives. Plans and develops marketing programs to enhance the local competitive position, and to maximize market penetration. Periodically participates in business development activities such as speaking before local professional associations and trade groups and entertaining customers.

* Participates occasionally in policy liability and claims settlement negotiation and resolution.

* Occasionally prepares detailed recommendations for superior concerning changes in escrow and related services affecting the area of responsibility.

* Drives and makes calls on numerous accounts or prospective customers. Professionally presents Company's services in a manner to induce customers to utilize our company over our competitors. Analyzes products and service needs, customer volume and income potential, and develops insight as to the type of individuals dealt with.

* Through use of individually developed sales techniques and strategies, sells products or services. Works with account managers to make calls, sales seminars, and telephone contacts for the purpose of maintaining existing accounts and soliciting new business.

* Manage, supervise, and coordinate escrow personnel to assure compliance with company policies and correct and timely escrow procedures.

* Ensures the quality and timeliness of service to customers by maintaining communications with appropriate internal departments.

* Process escrows or title orders personally at customer request or as technical skills, local requirements and Management direct.

* Use of computer for various miscellaneous tasks.

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

* Help support office with miscellaneous tasks.

* Do funding, write-ups, open orders.

* Help to make sure office supplies are kept on hand.

* Help with general appearance of office, i.e., clean kitchen.

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

**Qualifications**

Notary Public, real estate license, title or escrow certificate helpful.
