**Major Responsibilities** include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

* Follow the Job Instruction Breakdowns (JIBs) for the job.

* Handle materials to and from the production line.

* Count, identify, and weigh materials as required.

* Exercise safe work practices.

* Maintain good housekeeping of area.

* Maintain specific quality standards by performing all checks as required by the quality sampling standards.

* Maintain production rates and strives to improve.

* Complete all necessary paperwork and computer input as requested.

* Use common hand tools, gauges, measuring devices, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment to perform job function.

* Read, understand, and respond to instruction.

* Become skilled at identifying product names, codes, labels, ID numbers and associated components.

* Perform running adjustments, perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment, complete standard setups/changeovers on equipment.

* Work at different workstations and various departments as production needs require.

* Utilize special handling equipment to aid in movement or positioning of materials.

* Stacking, pushing and pulling skids loaded onto and off conveyors.

* Changes edge banding according to the product requirements.

* Ensures the glue pot is filled to the proper level.

* Regularly cleans glue off the rollers and the flat surface tops.

* Maintains clean work environment. Cleans machines and work area as required at end of each shift.

* Checks each part before banding for quality.

* Applies banding using the banding machine.

* Trims the boards on both sides using the trimmer.

* Troubleshoots the machines when required.

* Communicates with the scheduler to produce the scheduled product.

**Requirements:**

* Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred

* Previous CNC machining experience preferred

* Good safety record

* Basic written and verbal communication skills

* Good Math skills

* Must be able to work overtime as business needs dictate

* Ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance
