About the Role:
As the Executive Assistant to the President/Executive Director, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our mission-driven organization. You'll provide high-level project and administrative support to our President/Executive Director and the Executive Office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, manage key relationships, and facilitate the smooth flow of information within our dynamic organization.

What you'll be Doing:

Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director & President include but are not limited to:
  • Organizing internal and external meetings, managing logistics, drafting agendas, and taking minutes as needed
  • Establishing an efficient system for information flow to and from the President/Executive Director.
  • Coordinating scheduling and domestic travel for the President/Executive Director.
  • Managing communication and information flow to the Board of Directors.
  • Tracking and following up on projects and action items.
  • Building and maintaining key relationships internally and externally.
  • Preparing internal communications and external correspondence.
  • Coordinating briefing materials and public speeches.
  • Assisting with donor communications and meetings.
  • Managing special projects and contributing to strategic communications.


Minimum Requirements and Competencies:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience providing direct senior-level project and administrative support.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professionalism and diplomatic skills when interacting with high-level individuals.
  • The ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced MS Outlook scheduling.
  • Strong judgment, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Flexibility to multitask and handle various projects.
  • A minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Availability for extended hours and occasional travel (up to 20%).
