Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Analyst for Merchandisers & Refurbishment is responsible for supporting the strategy and resource planning for merchandisers and ISB (in store bagging) machines. Additionally, they will support the field operations and supply chain teams in analyzing and optimizing the operations and processes for internal refurbishment centers. They work closely with various teams, including operations, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure the efficient and effective refurbishment of merchandisers an associated products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on demand for merchandisers, ISB units, and refurbishment needs. Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop accurate demand forecasts and ensure adequate supply. Participate and provide input to decisions made in the S&OP process.
  • Collaborate with refurbishment center management and other internal teams to understand material requirements and develop procurement plans. Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collect and analyze data related to refurbishment center operations, including production output, quality metrics, inventory levels, and cost data. Use statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of refurbished products, spare parts, and materials. Develop inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory, ensuring optimal levels for efficient operations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact refurbishment center operations, such as supply disruptions, quality issues, or equipment failures. Develop contingency plans and work with cross-functional teams to minimize the impact of potential risks.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to refurbishment center operations, such as production output, cycle time, and quality metrics. Generate reports and provide insights to management on performance trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management associated with the development of the role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Very strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and solve complex problems
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership skills, organization skills, time management skills, demonstrated team building and motivational competencies.
  • 4-year College Degree or Minimum 2 years of previous Supply Chain and/or Refurbishment Center experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability with improving processes, influencing change and people to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. Conditions vary from normal office conditions to all areas inside and outside of plant. Exposure to extreme temperature fluctuations, ammonia and heavy moving equipment. Weekend and evening work may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships and reason through complex business situations is essential. Some travel might be required with potential for overnight stay; a valid drivers license and acceptable MVR are required
