Junior Quality Manager

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA (On-site)

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Role Overview:

The Junior Certified Quality Manager will play a key role in overseeing the quality control and safety aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction project management, with specific expertise in quality and safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and oversee the quality control (QC) programs for various construction projects.

Monitor and ensure compliance with all project safety regulations and quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers and other team members to align project specifications with quality standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Document inspection findings and prepare reports on quality and safety compliance.

Manage corrective actions in response to audit findings and ensure continuous improvement processes.

Provide training and support to project teams on quality control and safety matters.

Assist in the development and revision of quality control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a project manager or quality/safety manager in the construction industry.

Certification in Quality Management (CQM, CQA, or similar).

Strong understanding of construction quality control and safety standards.

Proven ability to manage quality control programs effectively.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
