Position Description:
- Develop an Independent Verification and Validation Plan (IV&VP)
- Support all of the testing associated with Quality Control and Quality Assurance with the use of Agile tools
- Establish sound testing practices that extend to the end-user community both within and external to the agency through End-User Testing facilitation and/or product demonstration.
- Provide testing for Verification System to support user acceptance/end user testing, and execution of additional testing during development lifecycles for services/systems supporting the Verification program.
- Testing- Review a typical set of testing activities undertaken by the organization for source code validation, product usability, performance, security, and compatibility assessment.
- End User Testing- Efficiently and independently validate the Operating System, Application, Software, and Hardware is compatible with others and promotes cross-use and continuous functionality within the established DHS and/or enterprise architecture. Produce a very clear and seamless testing mechanism to reduce cost and effort of the DevOps & Delivery team.
- Enterprise Project Testing - The Testing Framework Documentation will be developed for each implementation and will include 1.) Release vs Sprint 2.) Custom Security needs 3.) Quality Assurance Metrics (Software MTBF etc.) 4.) Test Summary per Sprint/Release.
Role Responsibilities:
- Financial system functional support related to Federal Financials CLM
- Experience with primarily the Projects Module
- Familiarity with how these modules work with Projects
- Accounts Receivable/Advanced Collections
- iProcurement/Purchasing/ CLM System
- Accounts Payable/eInvoicing
- Federal Administrator/Budget Execution
- Projects Costing and Billing
- General Ledger
- System cutover and post-implementation functional support
- Provide users and stakeholders a migration strategy and support for the new processes
- Coordinating among the cross functional teams for all the following task activities to ensure alignment and agreement
- Managing and updating changes to the RTM
- Providing Functional and Technical Specification support along with configuration management of the above
- Familiarity with how these modules work with Projects
Required Skills:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DHS/EOD Public Trust security clearance; active DHS EOD preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT-related; Delivery Quality Assurance, Testing Services and Integration Testing, Product/Domain level testing, and DevOps.
- Minimum of ten (10) years in providing Test Estimates and Impact Assessments for various types of testing and in the creation of the Test Plans and Results document for projects/releases.
- Experience in system testing, integration, regression, security, and section 508 testing.
- Experience writing test plans, test case scenarios, and identifying loads and metrics to be collected, conducting various types of tests and collecting necessary metrics, writing test analysis documents, highlighting key findings and recommendations and performing code reviews
- A Subject Matter Expert and performs analysis of documented user requirements and will also direct or assist in the design of test plans in support of user
- Through End-User Testing facilitation and/or product demonstration with focus on four major aspects of Test automation & Quality Management:
- Software quality assurance
- Software quality control
- Testing & Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- End User Testing
