The School of Architecture and Design (SoAD) at Wentworth Institute of Technology invites applications for two full-time Program Director positions for the Architecture (BS in Architecture)and Design (BS in Interior Design + BS in Industrial Design) programs. Additionally, the new Program Directors will collaborate in the development of a new BS in Interdisciplinary Building Sciences and a BS in Digital Design programs.

Faculty rank is negotiable, based on qualifications and experience. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Together with the program faculty and School administration, the program director works for the advancement of the school and shares responsibility for improving education and fostering outstanding student learning experiences within the program. Reporting directly to the Dean, the program director (PD) serves as the leader of the program and its curriculum, including accreditation and program assessment, development and review, scheduling, curricular and course development/review, planning and generating content for marketing, student recruitment, retention and success, and developing and achieving annual goals/objectives. The PD will also be a liaison on behalf of the program with other university offices, such as registrar, marketing, and Coops+Careers office.

The Program Director teaches 2-3 courses (10-12 credits) per academic year (Fall and Spring semesters).

School of Architecture and Design at Wentworth:

Located in Boston, Wentworth s School of Architecture and Design (SoAD) offers highly respected programs in Architecture (BS and M.Arch NAAB accredited), Industrial Design (BS NASAD accredited), and Interior Design (BS CIDA accredited). The mission of the SoAD is to empower design students and educators from all backgrounds to become creative, civic-minded problem solvers, responding to global challenges and contributing to local communities. Comprising approximately 780 undergraduate and 90 graduate students, the SoAD has robust international study opportunities at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
