Sales Assistant

Job description

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the sales team and customers during the sales process. He/she will help customers resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner, generally providing real-time support. He/she is expected to resolve and distribute all inquiries from the clients to the sales team and ensure customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:


  • Provides receptionist support answering phones, filing, printing & copying, greeting and assisting customers.
  • Answers and responds to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Distributes event inquiries to event designers.
  • Handles all will-calls and delivery orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Enhances client relationships, be a brand ambassador for Ridgewells.
  • Manages online orders through online GoTab portal.
  • Acts as liaison between the customer and various departments to ensure that on-line and over the phone orders are fulfilled.
  • Performs office administrative functions as needed, including the upkeeping of the office.
  • Provides support to the Sales Team executives including, but not limited to, the Senior Event Producer/Designer, Director of Sales, and Chief Development Officer.
  • Coordinates with the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  • Runs detailed and complicated Sales reports utilizing Catering software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Assists the Director of Sales with weekly reporting and Team emails.
  • Aids in the preparation and organization of promotional materials for events.
  • Acts as the main support for the Manager of Corporate Drop Off Account with events details and logistics.
  • Fulfills Request for Proposals for the Director of Sales, Chief Development Officers, and other Sales Executives.
  • Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Hospitality or Management or equivalent.
  • Office admin or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to function independently and intuitively in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Should have general interest in customer service, food, and events.
  • Possession of excellent communication skills on all fronts.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and must be easily approachable.
  • Must be someone that pays keen attention to details.
  • Good organizational and coordinating abilities are required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in the face of multiple duties is needed.
  • Excellent time-management skills are required.
  • Excellent decision-making skills to reduce chances of error is required.
