Culmen is looking for a talented, diligent IT Systems Administrator to maintain and administer our company's networked system of computers. They will administer the IT systems and portals, and provide technical support for issues related to computers, software, and other technology while implementing effective solutions. The ideal candidate has an excellent ability to solve problems using an in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. They will also be team players, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism. Roles and Responsibility Serve as the first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance over the phone or via email. Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Keep a record of events, problems, and their resolution. Install new software and hardware components. Provide basic computer training. Educate coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage. Support the day-to-day operations of the company s computer network. Ensure data storage is safe and secure. Perform basic computer maintenance. Follow up with staff, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution. Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support. Work independently, react to change productively, and handle other essential tasks as assigned while exercising a high level of confidentiality. Basic Qualification Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology OR 4+ years of progressive employment experience that demonstrates and understanding in understanding and supporting technology, ability to communicate and problem-solving. Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire. Possess a valid Driver s License. Possess a clear Tuberculosis test. Ability to successfully clear a background check. Ability to successfully clear a drug screening. Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
