We are seeking a Business Development Director in the Northeastern United States to work closely with senior management and internal subject matter experts to help secure new business within the life science industry.

What you will be doing:
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of Diligent Health Solutions' offerings to identify profitable business opportunities
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Discovering and adding targets for outsourced services through researching and networking
  • Developing and strengthening internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation
  • Using a consultative approach to selling that focuses on creating value and trust with a prospect and exploring their needs before offering solutions
  • Embracing a patient-centric model mentality to keep the patient in the center of our ecosystem
  • Identifying opportunities to launch additional contact center services
  • Staying current with the industry's ever-changing regulatory environment
  • Tracking emerging markets and trends
  • Fostering and working to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture
  • Proposing and developing strategic partnerships
  • Overseeing and participating in the responses for proposals (RFPs) from potential customers
  • Helping to shape the company's long-term objectives and determining plans for meeting them


For Consideration:

For consideration, you must:
  • Live on the east coast, as far south as North Carolina and as west as Pennsylvania
  • Have 3 - 5 years of experience in consultative selling of similar services to the life science industry
  • Successful sales history in contact center services in the life science industry
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the shifting landscape faced by life science companies, including patient-centric models, the value of innovative partnerships and the changing regulatory environment
  • Ability and willingness to frequently travel
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance
