Job description

About Us

Red Cell Partners is an incubation firm building and investing in rapidly scalable technology-led companies that are bringing revolutionary advancements to market in three distinct practice areas: healthcare, cyber, and national security. United by a shared sense of duty and deep belief in the power of innovation, Red Cell is developing powerful tools and solutions to address our Nation's most pressing problems.

Andesite is an analyst-obsessed cybersecurity company that's committed to improving the capabilities and efficiencies of overburdened cyber defense teams. With its advanced technology, Andesite empowers cybersecurity teams and their analysts to better predict threats, prioritize and allocate resources, and take preemptive actions to prevent or mitigate attacks. In April 2024, Andesite launched from stealth out of Red Cell Partners, an incubation firm that builds and invests in rapidly scalable technology-led companies that are bringing revolutionary advancements to market in healthcare, cyber, and national security.

Available Location: Tysons, VA (hybrid)

Cybersecurity analysts are drowning in an increasingly data-dense security environment. Teams are overburdened. The industry faces a dire talent shortage that threatens the resilience of both government and commercial organizations.

Andesite is building the next generation cybersecurity analyst experience, with an Analyst-Obsessed approach. Our mission is to supercharge the analysts protecting our country's networks. When analysts work in our advanced AI security analytics platform, they can analyze decentralized data sets at scale and more quickly respond to threats. They become better and smarter, just by doing the things they're already built to do.

We have deep experience with this problem. Our team is born out of the security community and comes from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences including the CIA, NSA, military, big tech, and start ups.

After being co-developed by Red Cell Partners' newly-formed Cyber Practice and General Catalyst, we raised a $15M seed round and are rapidly scaling.

The Role:

Andesite is looking for a proactive, low-ego, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant.

What You'll Do:
  • Admin: Provide excellent day-to-day administrative support to geographically dispersed members of the Senior Leadership Team, exercising high attention to detail and handling highly confidential information and documents with the utmost discretion.
  • Calendar: Manage and maintain multiple executive calendars, including ad hoc and recurring meetings, prioritizing executives' time appropriately and using good judgement in offering solutions to complex scheduling and meeting planning needs. Ensure the leaders are equipped with all the necessary meeting information and manage inbound and outbound requests.
  • Logistics: Coordinate all logistical aspects of key company meetings (all-hands, offsites, and board meetings), including venue selection, travel arrangements, and meeting planning. You should have a team-first attitude and be comfortable with rapid changes or shifts in priorities.
  • Communications: Proactively manage communication from internal and external stakeholders, including strategic investors and customers, on the executives' behalf.
  • Travel and Expenses: Plan all aspects of domestic and international travel, optimizing and balancing executives' time with the cost of travel and company Travel & Expense policies. Ensure timely submission of expense reports.
  • Teaming: Thought partner with the SLT and the Operations Team, providing insightful support in decision-making processes and continuously improving administrative processes as the company scales.

Who You Are:
  • 10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a fast-paced and growing startup and/or for a fast-paced Executive or leadership team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization. Experience with communications and productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom) essential.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving needs of a high-growth company
  • Incredibly trustworthy with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Even Better If You Have:

A background in cybersecurity or defense tech, or a demonstrated ability in adjacent industries and companies.

What We Can Offer:
  • An aggressively competitive salary, bonus, and equity package
  • 100% employer paid, comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision for you and your family
  • Unlimited PTO, with your manager's approval
  • Flexible work environment where you manage your work day
  • Occasional travel to collaborate with your team and teammates from across the company in person
  • 14 weeks of fully-paid parental leave
