Job description

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all application development documentation adheres to agency and bureau policies and procedures.
  • Developing and delivering a backlog template per application and maintaining and managing application(s) backlog.
  • Developing and reviewing documentation and actively participating in finalizing documentation, including Technical Architecture Diagram (TADs), O&M Manual, Administration Guide, and other documentation consistent with agency guidance and policies.
  • Ensuring all technical documentation (including O&M Manual, SOPs, etc), training materials, and knowledge articles are documented and kept in a centralized, shared repository.
  • Developing and delivering annual documentation updates unique to each application.
  • Monitoring installed applications to capture application analytics to facilitate development of user manuals and technical references.
  • Coordinate with multiple offices and bureaus to review requirements and resolve requirements conflicts.
  • Curating documentation for agency users and providing current information and other updates necessary to facilitate system users access to information.
  • Accommodate business process changes, feature requests, bug fixes, and upgrades to supported platforms, major and minor releases for USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistances primary Level 1 business services support system, Abacus.
  • Maintain and manage application(s) backlog for ongoing government review and development prioritization.
  • Support the approved governance entity (such as the Abacus Management Committee) and associated process(es) to facilitate and support sprint cycle development priorities that incorporate BHA stakeholder decisions and follow the USAID SDLC.
  • Assist in coordination of stakeholder meetings and preparation of agendas and minutes as needed.
  • Assist with working sessions with the key stakeholders to understand business needs and identify improvements.
  • Utilize the Agency's ITSM Tool (ServiceNow)
  • Assist with coordination with multiple offices and bureaus to review requirements and resolve requirements conflicts.
  • Create/update content for business process documentation and workflows, system documentation and application release reports, as well as other deliverables as requested.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualification:

  • U.S. Citizen; with a Public Trust clearance
  • 0 -2 years of experience.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools.
  • Ability to understand technical content and create documentation

Preferred Qualification:

  • Active Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.

Target Salary Range:
$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
