Experienced Family Law Attorney Needed!

If the answer is yes....we want to talk with you. We are a boutique law firm delivering the full spectrum of legal services to the individual consumer. We provide legal services in all areas of Family Law (Divorce, Custody, etc.), Criminal Defense, Trust & Estates, Elder Law, and Bankruptcy. We are looking for a family law attorney who enjoys helping clients with their divorce, child custody, or alimony cases. If this sounds like you....give us a call.

As a member of our team, you will handle all aspects of case management, including intaking new clients and spearheading all aspects of the litigation for the clients assigned to you.


Responsibilities

  • Attorneys are given leads (potential new clients) from the intake division. Attorneys are encouraged to target leads with specific issues. So, for example, if you are interested in representing clients whose spouse has mental health issues, or if you like doing custody cases, our firm will give you leads who have the issues you prefer to deal with. The thinking is that it is best to be a Master of a few disciplines, than a Jack of all trades. Attorneys are supported by the intake department and sales professionals to help assure each attorney that they are able to cultivate a client base in need of the attorney's unique skill set.
  • Grow your case load through potential leads provided to you by the firm
  • Manage your caseload using the firm's CRM
  • Bill 30-35 hours per week. Base salary is satisfied with 30 hours billed and collected. Bonuses are calculated on revenue collected. Bonuses are considered important.
  • Convert leads provided to you by the firm, onboard your clients, manage the case from conception to conclusion. Each attorney is supported at each stage of the process. Beginning with a Intake team that are sales professionls, including experienced paralegals, and billing assistance to assure that your fees are collected.
  • Participation in bar functions, networking, and CLEs is expected.
  • Assist with other cases as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Skills

  • Maryland Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in family law.
  • Experience with CRM/case management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Participation in bar functions
  • Courteous and professional demeanor and able to work as a team with attorneys and staff


Remote Work:

  • Remote work available 1-2 days per week
