Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will implement the resident's Care Plan for rehabilitation Help residents to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance Communicate resident progress or problems to the supervisor and other team members Assist with resident scheduling and post charges daily to resident records Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws Qualifications A person who is a graduate and meets the requirements for certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Certification is maintained by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. Currently certified in the state of Maryland Is licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the State of Maryland Two (2) years experience in geriatrics, preferred.
