RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Technologist (Engineer/Scientist) to support the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED)'s mission to deliver clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector to accelerate deployment, market adoption, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy system to join our superior workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead in the energy generation technology or a closely related technology recognized authority on industry standards and quality management principles, and demonstrate a strong track record of professional experience in innovative energy technology assessment and development for banks or other financial institution
  • Evaluate the reliability and performance of energy systems, including understanding probabilistic and statistical methods related to risk assessments, fault tree analysis, failure mode, and effects analysis as these techniques relate to operational reliability and safety.
  • Provide current and future thought leadership related to plans related to the stated discipline


Requirements

  • Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
  • 5+ years of experience in energy generation technologies or a closely related technology recognized authority on industry standards and quality management principles, and demonstrate a strong track record of professional experience in innovative energy technology assessment and development
  • Experience in Clean Energy desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of fundamental business writing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)


EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

A professional engineering license and additional degrees at the Master's or doctoral level are preferred.

COMPENSATION: Includes competitive compensation and benefits package.
