**Location:** Lynchburg, VA

Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up tires. May load and unload vehicle; as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. Report delays, accidents,or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.

**Static Strength** - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. **Reaction Time** - The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears. **Attention to Detail** - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. **Stress Tolerance** - Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.

**Work Environment:**

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The truck may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

**Education and experience:**

High school diploma or equivalency, a minimum of one year commercial driver experience required.
