We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.
The Business Intelligence Analyst works closely with the Director of Data and Analytics in developing content, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide insights that drive business decisions. The Analyst will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, data visualization and Excel, as well as excellent communication skills to distill raw data into insights.

This is a remote role and salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The range for this position is $71,400 - $109,000.

The Business Intelligence Analyst works closely with the Director of Data and Analytics in developing content, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides financial reporting, analysis, and support to the firm's leadership, timekeepers and various departments.
- Designs, develops, and updates various reporting assets (dashboards and reports) for various firm departments.
- Provides analysis to decision makers who seek financial information/insight, whether individual partners, teams of partners, or managers; discuss underlying dynamics affecting financial performance.
- Monitors and evaluates data sources to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinates with users to answer data inquiries and provides ad hoc reporting and analysis, as required.
- Documents and updates documentation regarding dashboards, reports, and financial glossary.
- Provides financial reporting, analysis, and support to the firm's leadership, timekeepers and various departments.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A Bachelor's degree is required in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and report development.
- Previous experience working with the Aderant financial system preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Excel for data analysis. Strong command of SQL for querying databases.
- Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Power BI and SSRS to create insightful and compelling reports and dashboards.
- Clear and effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Familiarity with R and Python programming.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure.
