**JOB SUMMARY**

Establish and maintain customer relationships and customer orders/releases. Facilitate between inside/outside sales, customers and locations throughout MW Industries. Responds to and resolves customer issues or complex requests.

**REPORTING TO**

General Manager

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

* Assists in monitoring daily workflow to ensure correct procedures are followed.

* Identifies improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

* Assists with training on new procedures and new staff members.

* Maintains highly accurate customer open order reporting.

* Supports General Manager with compiling analysis reports.

* Manage customer purchase orders and releases.

* Accurately and timely transfer data from purchase orders and releases to manufacturing.

* Maintain constant contact with Purchasing to ensure raw material and outside requirements for customer schedules are met.

* Work with Applications Engineering to ensure the proper revisions of part numbers are used, the proper quantities have been estimated and quoted, changes are reviewed accurately, and timely, and new quotes are being processed to meet customers demands.

* Coordinate with Applications Engineering to receive and process customers requests for quotes.

* Verify customer orders reflect the correct price and timing as quoted.

* Ensure customers releases are in line with established release policies for the desired quantities. This is an extension of maintaining acceptable inventory and min/max levels.

* Tracking of shop orders in response to the multitude of customer inquiries regarding the status of their orders, requests to move in and out, request to cancel, request to be notified when an order is going to ship or be late.

* Establish, maintain, update, and provide an accurate part history.

* Coordination with accounting to manage customer invoicing.

* Work effectively with adjacent departments including Shipping and Quality to ensure all customer requirements are being met and customer questions are answered expediently.

* Effectively manage customer communications to build effective relationships and open communication (phone, email, etc.) to ensure full customer satisfaction.

* Complete any special projects assigned by General Manager.

**SKILLS and ABILITIES**

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

* Must be an analytical thinker.

* Negotiation skills.

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

* Highly organized and detail oriented.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**

* High School Diploma minimum, Associates Degree preferred.

* 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
