ManTech is seeking a Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our MCIA team supporting our growing Marine Corps programs in Quantico, VA.

This position of junior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) supports the continuous monitoring and authorization efforts of multiple classified and unclassified information systems under the direction of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Performing a variety of technical, and non-technical Cyber Security duties.

This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance

General Responsibilities:

* Training, and assisting users of information systems to ensure security procedures are followed.

* Investigating issues of concern through technical reviews, interviews, or other appropriate investigative steps.

* Conducting technical compliance assessments of information systems in accordance with established standards.

* Coordinating with system administrators, ISSMs, and information system owners to remediate vulnerabilities.

* Under the guidance of the ISSM and Senior ISSO, create or maintain policies, procedures, diagrams, or artifacts needed in support of ATO package submissions.

* Conducting technical compliance assessments of information systems in accordance with established standards.

* Provide regular reporting of updates and status on work to the Sr. ISSO.

* Other duties as required.

**Mandatory Skills Requirements:**

* DoD TS//SCI Clearance

* Shall meet DOD 8570 requirements for IAT II or higher

* Bachelors Degree (2 years experience), Associate Degree (+4 years experience), or High School Diploma (+6 years experience)

* Experience preforming technical assessments of common operating systems, applications and networking components in support of RMF based security accreditations

* Working knowledge of NIST 800-53, and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF)

**Physical requirements:**

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
