**Pivot Physical Therapy is now hiring a dedicated Fitness Manager! This full-time position will operate out of our Troy, PA clinic. **Job Summary:**

The Fitness Manager promotes all Performance brand features through training, communication, and customer service including safety; intensity; variation; individualized, sport and team specific programming; and assessment-based training programs

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Ensures that members receive a training experience where they are achieving their fitness goals.

* Ensures that the fitness center delivers a high-quality fitness experience to all members.

* Responsible for the successful attainment of department targets, including revenue and member retention

* Analyze the business and develop action plans to improve performance of the business

* Stay ahead of current fitness trends to recommend product and service changes.

* Manage the fitness centers revenue and expense goals

* Maintain a high level of customer service.

* Help generate new sales leads for new membership growth.

* Take steps to ensure membership retention.

* Perform a wide range of administrative activities

* To make recommendations and assist in the formulation of client goals, policies and plans

* To supervise and monitor exercise participants, perform exercise assessments, and exercise prescription

* Hires, trains and develops a strong team of Personal Coaches.

* Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly, maintains department cleanliness and safety.

* Assists in ordering supplies and ensures that all supplies and equipment are readily available.

* Participates in infection control, departmental training, equipment training and organizational compliance activities.

* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facility/equipment.

* Actions and attitudes set example for co-workers.

* Utilizes appropriate communication and displays compassion in customer interactions.

* Regularly communicates concerns or positive feedback on a regular basis to the Director of Fitness.

* Applies principles of collaboration and teamwork to job responsibilities.

* Exercises sound resource utilization and creativity in completing work assignments.

* Displays customer relation behaviors and utilizes continuous quality improvement principles.

* Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians, facility staff and members of the department.

* Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

* Maintains a professional appearance in personal grooming and dress in accordance with the current Dress Code Policy.

**Required Education, Skill and Abilities:**

* Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or related field (Health Promotion, Kinesiology, and Sports Medicine) preferred

* Possess a NCCA accredited personal training or strength and conditioning certification; the below is preferred:

* NSCA-CSC

* ACSM- CPT OR HFS

* NASM -CPT

* ACE - CPT
