Job description
Signal is seeking a creative and social content manager with a digital-first mindset and an inherent sense of curiosity to serve our public relations and public affairs work across our clean energy, healthcare, and technology clients.
What You'll Do:
Lead development of organic content strategies across multiple platforms (social, web, video, etc.) and execute for multiple clients
Trendspot and draft compelling issue-based content
Conduct routine senior-level client contact
Interpret, distill, and present digital analytic reports
Manage development and production of materials to support campaigns across all channels
Track project progress and deadlines
The Model Candidate:
You are a bright, engaging self-starter who thrives on collaborating with others and are passionate about social media
You think out of the box, looking for new ways to communicate complex ideas
You're not waiting for direction, but rather seeking for solutions before being asked or prompted
Can flawlessly execute the day-to-day work while seeking out opportunities to contribute and grow professionally as a content creator
Have an impeccable understanding of AP style, are detail-oriented, diligent with each task and can work on multiple initiatives under strict deadlines
Qualifications:
You have hands-on experience with social media management for politicians or organizations
Strong knowledge of social media, newsletter and website best practices and an interest and commitment to master emerging technologies
Proficiency in creative software packages such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro and/or After Effects, Audition), CapCut, etc.
Ability to monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators), analytics, and trend for clients and sectors (Meltwater, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Keyhole, etc.)
Have 4+ years of PR agency, in-house, or government communications experience

Signal's office is now open, and employees may work remotely; however, this position is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
