Mission

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker. The role of our Utility Workers is of great responsibility as they are tasked with ensuring thatour Vehicle Fleet and Facilities complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards. Additionally, our Utility Workers ensure that our vehicle fleet always looks its best. You represent our company to the community, and your attention to detail and care for the fleet is vital.

Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must have a Class B CDL with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening, DOT Physical examination, and background check.
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle record with no DUI's in ten (10) years and no more than two moving violations or at fault collisions within the last three (3) years.
  • No more than one (1) moving violation in the last twelve (12) months.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands on experience or technical or vocational training required.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and varied work schedules including early morning, late night, weekends, snow days and holidays.
  • This position is also subject to be on-call as deemed necessary.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs general cleaning of grounds and buildings.
  • Detailed record keeping of services performed.
  • Cleans the service areas and the bus parking area daily.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, teamwork area.
  • Assist in completion of facility maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Actively participates in safety or educational training as required.
  • Maintains a professional image and conduct, including a proper, well-maintained uniform while on duty..
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently walks and or stands
  • Frequently exposed to outside elements of extreme cold and heat.
  • Occasionally drives a motor vehicle.
  • Frequently exposed to fumes, odors, hazardous materials, dirt, and dust.
  • Occasionally lifts objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds when moving supplies.
  • May be required to stoop, bend, or kneel.
