**Customer Service Assistant (CSA)**

Location Federalsburg, MD Description This is an entry level customer service position. The primary responsibility is to assist the Customer Service Rep (CSR) with our National Accounts communication and data generation.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Assist CSR to support our business development of National Accounts

* Provide prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to select National Account customers and resolve customer service issues appropriately and completely

* Check status of customer orders on a daily basis to ensure rating and orders are entered correctly.

* Update customers of shipments as requested

* Track all quotes provided to National Accounts

* Record and notate customer complaints regarding freight. Remedy customer complaints regarding service to maximize customer satisfaction

* Run queries and create and distribute reports as requested

* Explain and clarify H & M Bay Service Guidelines to customers and prospects.

Requirements

* Candidate must be a self starter and highly motivated to succeed

* Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage emotional customer situations.

* Excellent listening skills in order to identify customer needs

* Solid verbal and writing skills.

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel. Skills with a CRM module a plus.
