FORVIS LLP is seeking a Senior Consultant, Forensics and Valuationat its Tysons, VA office.

Job Description: Perform the valuations of private and public companies, intangible assets, loan and debt obligations, and complex securities in the context of mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory reporting, restructuring, and management planning. Perform enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, and intangible asset valuations for financial reporting, tax, and corporate planning purposes. Incorporate and utilize analytical, financial, and statistical data analysis in order to develop and reach financial conclusions based on various types of quantitative information. Value illiquid holdings (revolvers, term loans, untrenched loans, subordinated debt, and mezzanine debt) in investment fund portfolios consisting of debt and private equity investments. Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Analyze complex financial data for Valuation purposes. Assist managers and partners with the review of the third-party business and intangible asset valuation reports for audit support. Develop financial models, including projections, complex securities, discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, and analyses of guideline public companies and comparable M&A transactions. Organize, evaluate, prepare, and present summaries and detailed analyses of large volumes of financial and non-financial data. Perform financial, economic, and industry analyses, and create presentations and reports for clients and senior management in a wide variety of industries. Participate in due diligence meetings with clients.

Minimum Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field of study. Position requires two (2) years of experience as a Valuation Associate, Investment Analyst, or a related occupation. Position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Business valuation; Online databases, including Capital IQ, and Internet research of company-specific, industry, and economic analysis; Research industry and economic analysis, writing valuation reports, and general accounting principles related; and Preparing valuations for financial and tax reporting purposes.
