**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Dormakaba is seeking an Assembler to join our Operations team in Reamstown, PA! This position is responsible for performing assembly and packaging tasks required in the manufacturing process of automatic doors.

**PRIMARY DUTIES**

* Prepares work to assembled, studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials

* Assembles sub-assemblies and parts for correct fit including headers, jambs, transoms and door panels

* Packages product to meet standards headers, jambs transoms and door panels

* Uses hand tools to assemble and measure required parts

* Reviews parts, sub-assemblies, and final products

* Checks specifications by measuring completed component and rejects if established quality standards are not met

* Communicates with internal engineering and customer support about customer complaints and concerns

* Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

* Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level

* Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

**REQUIREMENTS**

* High school diploma or GED

* Detail-oriented

* Ability to lift 50 pounds

* Able to stand up to 8 hours at a time

* Ability to operate machinery

* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

* Basic understanding of warehouse shipping and receiving procedures

* Experience with spreadsheet and database software (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
