Laborer Operator

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Laborer Operator position. Laborer Operators perform a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work, and operate a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of township parks, cemeteries, roads and facilities. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am 3:30pm. Laborer Operators must be available for snow removal or other emergency duty 24/7 as needed. The starting wage is $18.84.

**Required qualifications include:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Valid State of Ohio Drivers License

* Class A State of Ohio Commercial Drivers License or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.

**Preferred qualifications include:**

* Experience in the maintenance and repair of roads, storm pipe and curb

* Experience working in public parks, maintaining landscaping and mowing

* Experience operating snow removal and landscaping equipment

Position is open until filled, with first review beginning 1/5/2022. Interviews will start the week of 1/10/2022.
