**Description**

***Allegheny Science & Technology (AST)*** is looking for an ***Events Planner & Manager***to support planning and implementing a variety of events for DoD energy programs, as well as monitor and coordinate energy/industry event elements and staff involvement ensuring deliverable compliance and scheduling and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders for event-specific planning and execution.

**Position Responsibilities:**

* Work with a team of multi-disciplined staff, providing event planning and implementation in support of DoD energy programs.

* Coordinate extensively with both internal and external program stakeholders.

* Plan and execute a variety of program and project events, including meetings, workshops, tradeshows, annual conferences and installation events, and groundbreaking ceremonies.

* Track and coordinate with program staff on energy/industry conference attendance, speaking engagements, speechwriting, briefing development, dress rehearsals, and staffing for approvals.

* Plan and implement industry days, project milestone events, and exhibits, with associated oversight of weekly in progress reviews, logistics, speechwriting, briefing development, dress rehearsals, event programs, fact sheets, lists and invitations for VIPs, media, and stakeholders.

* Track event elements and deliverables ensuring their timely completion relative to prescribed deadlines.

**Position Requirements:**

* Must have a bachelor's degree.

* Must have a Secret Clearance.

* Must have 10 years of DOD experience.

* Must be experienced in the planning, coordination and execution of program- and project-related tradeshows, meetings, workshops, conferences, and installation events.
