Role Title Food Service Technician I Purpose of the Position Under the general direction of the cook staff may perform production duties such as baking, roasting, frying, etc. Other duties may include stocking, dish room operation, trash removal and mopping. Provide excellent customer service and accurately take customer orders, cash handling. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's) and/or Competencies required and preferred Required:
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends
Ability to read and comprehend recipes, lists, and production needs
Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
Cash handling experience
Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to work in congested work areas and areas where wet processes are used
Ability to wear protective footwear
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a fairly continuous basis Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: Experience in a food service industry Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Preferred Experience Preferred:
Experience reading and comprehending recipes, lists, and production needs
