Role and Responsibilities
Works directly with the Case Management team for completion of Family Reunification Packet (FRP), as instructed by Case Aide Coordinator.
Assist Case Managers with the facilitation of discharges for unification, age outs, and age re-determinations.
Ensure resident files are compliant with DSS and federal government regulations as directed by Assistant VP of ORR Services and Quality Assurance Coordinator.
Provide customer service support for incoming calls and/or inquiries from sponsors regarding unaccompanied child unification.
Perform administrative duties as requested, including creating documents and reports, filing, inventory and order office supplies, etc.
Assist Case Managers in the maintenance and/or modification of agency data collection system and assist with completion of necessary statistical reports as requested.
Serve as interpreter for Spanish speaking residents and others with limited language capacity as needed.
Must be able to participate in rotations for the transportation and day care of tender aged minors. This may be outside of core YFT hours.
Attend all training mandated by YFT, government agencies, and licensing and placing agencies.
All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care outlined in DBHDS and DSS state standards (DBHDS: 12VAC 35-46-800; DSS: 22 VAC 40-151-720).

Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
High School diploma or GED Bilingual in Spanish and English required Current, active driver's license and good driving record Minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience utilizing MS Office software such as Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred. Ability to type 50+ WPM highly preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience working with at-risk and minor refugee youth highly preferred Able to work full-time, with flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings and weekend days. Ability to travel for short business trips Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail
