Role: Network Engineer
Location: Washington, D.C(Onsite)
Duration: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Data Network Support - Install and maintain LAN and WAN connections, capacity, and upgrades, including backup VPN, and coordinate change activity with ISP service providers.
Provide remote support to international locations for site-to-site connectivity support and integration. Setup, routine maintenance, and configuration of network switches at remote sites.
Enabling/disabling ports, assigning ports to VLANs as required by site, troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Manage, design, maintain and operate all Cloud networking components (VPC, Subnets, ELBs etc.) in the Cloud platforms the bank operates with.
Create, implement and maintain controls to achieve and maintain security in the networks: including the segregation of networks based on business need; connections to remote systems; access to diagnostic ports; restricted access in shared networks; network and routing control.
Installations, Moves, Adds and Changes (IMACS).
Remote VPN Access Services - Support VPN remote access concentrators.
Manage and Configure the Secure access control authentication and authorization servers.
Wireless Communications
Design and manage IP addresses and DNS naming conventions. Work with external hosting company to implement, update, and maintain valid domains
