Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Apply theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills gained from academic training to practical situations in the core area of competency;
  • Researching, collecting, organizing, and summarizing historic environmental documents;
  • Fieldwork such as soil, surface water and groundwater sampling;
  • Follow instructions and interact with engineers, scientists, geologists, office administrative staff, contractors and construction personnel;
  • Assist with environmental due diligence (Phase I/II ESAs); regulatory compliance services, and permitting;
  • Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and
  • Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.


Education and Licensure:
  • Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental, civil, chemical engineering or related field. (required)
  • Advanced degree in the same degrees listed above. (preferred)


Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification. (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office. (preferred)
  • Prior research experience in contaminated media or remediation technology. (preferred)
  • Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
  • Field work experience. (preferred)
  • Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. (required)
  • Valid U.S. drivers license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
