Job Title IT Support Specialist Location HERNDON, VA - HERNDON, VA 20171 US (Primary)

Job Description **ATCS is GROWING!** We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology group. This position is based at the ATCS headquarter in Herndon, VA office and provides technical support to all ATCS offices. This includes end-users, network, server and application support / administration both on cloud and on-premise.

The ideal candidate will be part of a team to provide primary technology support for all user related workplace technology including all production applications, computer workstations, VOIP, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment. Applicant must be familiar with VPN, AntiVirus, Cloud Computing, Network monitoring, VOIP telephony and have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, AWS, SharePoint, and Adobe Suites.

**Responsibilities and Duties are as follows but not limited to:**

* Perform support for onsite personnel as well as remote support using remote control tools.

* Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT Desktop / Network / application support.

* Provide onboarding and offboarding of the staff.

* Hardware and Software troubleshooting.

* Administer user network account additions, moves and changes. Manages network permission changes (access requests) for all team members.

* Provide end-user orientation on hardware, software and network operations when needed.

* Follow the instruction to monitor the infrastructure for possible issues and takes necessary action to prevent an outage.

* Maintains strong customer service skills when dealing with users, vendors and other partners.

* Maintain IT equipment and supply inventories to ensure critical parts and supplies are in place to maintain systems with limited downtime.

* Actively contributes to ongoing process improvements.

* Administer, update, and troubleshoot corporate VOIP telephony & backup system.

* Travel to all ATCS offices as needed.

* Perform other duties or special projects, as required, in support of the departments goals

* Willingness to research, learn and implement new technologies

Job Requirements **Qualifications and Skills**

* Certified Help Desk Professional, MCP, MSCE, A+, Security+ or certificate in related discipline

* 3 to 4 years experience in a desktop and systems support

* Associates degree in related field.

* Experience working with Office 365, Exchange online, MS Teams.

* Experience supporting Active Directory and Group Policy

* Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions

* Experience in supporting AWS and /or Azure cloud infrastructure is a plus

* Knowledge of PowerShell scripting

* Strong infrastructure service delivery support including LAN / WAN.

* Knowledge of networking protocols and supporting Cisco Meraki is a plus

* Familiarity with engineering applications such as AutoDesk, MicroStation and GIS is a plus.

* Experience with ticketing system and Inventory management

* Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent interpersonal skills.

* Paying attention to details, taking ownership and being organized

* Proven ability to multitask effectively and handle fluctuating workload.

* Proficient at troubleshooting problems with common office equipment.

* Ability to work overtime and weekends as need it.
