**WORKING ENVIRONMENT:**

Works indoors in patient homes and travels to/from patient homes.

Requirements

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Must be 18 years old or older.

* Must be able to speak, read and write in English to the degree necessary to perform the expected tasks and possess basic math skills.

* Completion of an approved training program as described by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services. These include:

1. Registration as a Virginia Board of Nursing Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A)

2. Home Health Aide Certificate from a Virginia Board of nursing Approved training facility

3. Personal Care Aide Certificate from a DMAS-approved training facility

* Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job to include a compassionate attitude

* Must pass written and skills competency evaluation
