A distribution and logistics client of Insight Global is looking to hire a General Manager for one of their warehouse locations in Columbus, Ohio. This person will be responsible for managing his/her team from recruiting to separation and management of all company policies and customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in distribution, and have the necessary skills to manage a team of up to 50 employees. This company specializes in freight handling, and the General Manager will be one of the first points of contact when communicating directly with clients. They run a 24 hour/6 days a week operation, so this GM must be comfortable with checking in on the night shift team once a week. Other than that, normal 8-5 M-F hours apply for this role.
