YMCA of Greater Cleveland has an immediate need for a Child Care Assistant Teacher. The Assistant Teacher provides direct supervision of a group of children in licensed Before and Afterschool Enrichment or Early Learning program. Assistant Teachers create positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Instructors may be required to travel to and from branch locations for assigned duties, training or meetings, or work programs in other areas as needed.

**Pay Rate:** $12.00

**Hours**: 20 - 25 hours weekly

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for the safety and active supervision of program participants

* Supervise and oversee daily implementation of curriculum activities

* Ensure daily cleaning of program site

**Qualifications:**

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

* High school diploma or GED, Associates Degree Preferred.

* Previous work experience in a child care center and/or experience working with children.
