The Release Manager shall collaborate with release managers from ICE OCIO, external organizations such as CBP and DoS, and within the SEVP program, such as SEVPAMS to identify dependencies and impacts to SEVIS release schedules. The Release Manager shall work with the Requirements Team and UAT testers from the Business to communicate development complete dates and testing schedules. The Release Manager shall work with the Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Team Lead, Scrum Masters, Lead So????ware Security Developer, POAM Project Manager, and Cloud Architect/Engineers to develop release plans, deploy releases and plan bug fixes and address Root Cause Analysis (RCAs). The Release Manager shall be responsible for the completion to SLM documentation and become knowledgeable in the execution the DHS SELC.
The Release Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and timely delivery of releases as they are deployed from development, testing, UAT, and production environments. The Release Manager documents risk to delivery time and communicates impacts to schedule immediately to all stakeholders (ITPMs, Product Owners, and UAT and development teams). The Release Manager also proposes and executes migration plans to minimize impact to performance and delivery schedules.
