**Service Manager**

The Service Manager works with customers to schedule service and assigns tasks to service employees. **Job Responsibilities:**

* Safety First: Ensure adherence to all Pomps, OSHA, and DOT safety regulations

* Answer incoming phone calls and handle customer inquiries

* Analyze tire problems and advise customer as to solutions

* Assign tasks to service employees in accordance with customer needs and employee skills

* Assist with store inventory management

* Follow and collect past due accounts

* In conjunction with the Training Department, ensure service employees are properly trained for their positions

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area

* Additional tasks as assigned

**Job Requirements:**

* Management experience preferred

* Sales experience preferred

* Valid drivers license and driving record to company standards

* Ability to maintain professional demeanor

* Good oral and written communication ability

* Intermediate computer skills

* Basic automotive/mechanical skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Strong time management skills

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* ASE and TIA certifications desired

* Previous tire experience strongly preferred

**Physical Demands:**

* Regularly lift, push, or move 50 pounds; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds

* Employee is required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and co-workers

* Constant standing required with frequent twisting, bending, stooping, crouching, and crawling

* Frequent use of fingers and hands to feel, frequent reaching above shoulders with hands and arms

* Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration

* Primarily working indoors with occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions such as heat and cold

* Frequent exposure to various toxic and/or caustic chemicals; safety equipment is provided as needed

* Noise level in the work environment can be loud; safety equipment is provided as needed
