**I. SUMMARY**

Describe the basic function/primary purpose of the position.

EMCOR Facilities Services has an opportunity for a painter in East Liberty, IN. The position will be site based at a client location. The employee will perform unit room turns/renovations which will require: prepare layout of projects, estimate height, width, length and other proportions, select materials, work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors, work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. Use drills, sanders, work with ladders, follow code and specifications. Paint walls and trim.

Business Experience

At least 3 years experience in general carpentry, dry-wall and painting in both office and manufacturing environments.

Language Skills

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Technical Qualifications & Skills

Adequate math skills with the ability to read and calculate measurements needed to cut, install, and assemble various materials/fixtures.

Ability to read and apply information from blueprints and shop drawings.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write basic reports and customer request documents such as work orders.
