Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas in a timely and professional manner.
- Report suspicious activities, hazards, and any security breaches.
- Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals gain entry.
- Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
- Maintain logs and write detailed incident reports.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
- Cooperate with local law enforcement agencies when required.
- Attend regular training sessions and stay up to date with the latest security protocols.
- Handle security issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Top-Secret security clearance with Polygraph.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant security certifications or training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related security role.
- In-depth knowledge of physical security protocols, and security technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise security procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with personnel, visitors, and clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical fitness that requires the ability to perform periodic patrols and standing for extended periods outdoors.
- Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a secure and confidential environment.
