How this role contributes to the Ys mission:

As a Y Custodian you will perform regular janitorial duties to ensure the cleanliness of Y wellness center. As a Y Custodian youll contribute to the Y and to the larger community we serve by enhancing the Y member experience, making the Y an enjoyable and meaningful part of their lives.

* An enthusiastic love for people of all ages, patience, good judgment and a good spirit

* The ability to relate to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community

* The ability to use equipment and chemicals in prescribed manner, including ability to read labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions

* The ability to stay alert to potential safety and security problems

* The ability to carry out instructions independently

* Previous related experience (preferred)
