Environmental Senior Engineer (Associate Principal)

Job description

What You'll Do:

The person hired for this role can sit in any of ECS' established offices in the Mid-Atlantic Region (VA, MD, DC, PA, NJ, NY).


  • Experience with design and implementation of water treatment systems
  • Hands on approach to getting water treatment systems troubleshooted in the field
  • Ability to assess and optimize treatment system
  • Primary responsibilities providing technical expertise and supporting Environmental staff within a branch
  • Responsibilities include performing the following at the office level:
    • Overseeing projects
    • Performing technical report reviews
    • Preparing proposals
    • Assisting with management of the department and P&L
    • Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
  • Responsibilities may include work at a regional level
  • Responsibilities also include leading and coaching junior Environmental staff members


What We're Looking For:
  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, MS preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of hire required
