Black Eagle Defense is looking for a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will execute and lead efforts to ensure system compliance within the Risk Management Framework and associated policy, procedures and guidelines. Maintain the availability and integrity of the environment. Assess and mitigate system

vulnerabilities.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

Review, prepare, and update packages in accordance with NIST Risk Management

Framework and customer policy, procedures and guidelines.

Identify and communicate changes that may affect information system (IS) security.

Propose and coordinate IS security policies, standards and methodologies.

Identify vulnerabilities and work with technical teams to implement countermeasures.

Ensure IS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance

with security policies and practices.

Provide security expertise to the organization.

**Minimum Qualifications & Experience:**

Bachelors degree and seven to nine years of related experience

DoD 8570 IAT Level III Compliant, required

Experience with Red Hat

Experience with Linux system administration

Familiarity with virtualization, including the VMWare suite of products

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Strong written and verbal skills
