As Cvent continues its growth and expand its market share, we are strengthening our tax team and looking for a Tax Accountant/Senior Tax Accountant to join. This role will serve a key role in preparing Companys quarterly and year-end provision, in preparing tax compliance products and participating in audit and defense activities. Individuals seeking a challenging, multifaceted role in a fast-paced work environment will enjoy the diverse responsibilities of this key position within our Finance department.



In This Role, You Will::
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end worldwide income tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740.
  • Coordinate with international tax team to ensure foreign tax provisions are completed timely and accurately for inclusion in the worldwide tax provision.
  • Research and document positions taken by the Company in the tax provision and income tax returns, including but not limited to analysis of tax technical issues, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowance, and APB 23.
  • Maintain documentation supporting the assurance that the group's tax accounting processes, workpapers, and related systems are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirements.
  • Liaise with external advisors on various tax projects/initiatives as well as general tax compliance work.
  • Prepare calculations for estimated tax payments and extension requests (foreign, federal and multi-state)
  • Support preparation of domestic and foreign federal, multi-state, and local income tax filings
  • Assist in foreign, federal and multi-state tax audits.
  • Assist in administration of the companys overall corporate tax strategy (including international entities)
  • Reconcile various general ledger tax accounts.
  • Assist and prepare various non-income tax filings and business licenses


Here's What You Need::
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA certified or CPA desired (or in the process of obtaining)
  • Minimum 3-4+ years of public and/or corporate tax experience (Big Four/National Firm experience highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ASC 740 and FIN 48
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US - GAAP)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills
  • Experience with automation tools and processes preferred (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query in Excel)
  • Knowledge of OneSource tax provision software
