User Experience Designer

Baltimore MD

Hybrid 2-3 days in the office per week

12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $30-$40/hr (Depending on Experience)


The ideal User Experience Designer will be given the opportunity to support the highly collaborative Customer IT team, focusing on product design, UX/UI design, service design, content design, and user research. The selected User Experience Designer will be able to work autonomously and be eager to learn and grow in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience with product design, UX/UI design, content design and/or user research.
  • Must have a portfolio of design work to share during interviews.
  • Interested in working with a front-end customer-facing product.
  • Interest in working with design tools like Sketch and Figma.
  • Interest in working with an agile work management tool like Azure DevOps or Confluence.
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Innately curious and eager to work in Innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
  • Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.


Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the design process to be data-driven
  • Support our clients design team on branding.
  • Hands-on project-facing work for various initiatives across our clients design team.
  • Collaborate with the product teams to make sure the design process is driven from UX
  • Enhance knowledge of and compliance with preferred technologies, methodologies, standards, and policies. Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function.
  • Ideate, design, and develop process and technology improvements such as process or test automation.
  • Independently meet with business groups involved in miscellaneous projects.
