Summary:
The Associate Director will work directly with Group Meeting Planners during the event planning phase and will be available to welcome the groups during planning site tours, pre- convention meetings and as they are arriving at the hotel for their meetings and events. This individual is also responsible for the training, coachingand development ofEvent Sales Managers,Event PlanningManagers and Administrative Assistants. This includes but is not limited to theirSelling,Planning and Servicing process and supports the Sales team alongside the Director of Sales, Events and Marketing.This individual will work closely with the Event Food & Beverage Department, Audio Visual Team and Hotel Operations making sure all client details are being communicated to the hotel for fulfillment.
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, managing key-operating systems and able to monitor referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills of utmost importance.

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
3 years in Hotel Event Sales and/or Event Planning
CMP Certifiedpreferred
Has completed General Sales training modules
Geographically mobile (minimal travel required)
Shows leadership throughout the hotel
Passionate about the Hotel Event experiences
Assists in the absence of the Director of Sales, Events & Marketing
