**Data Warehouse Analyst/Developer**

DOT NHTSA Sterling, Virginia Minimum Experience **Experienced** Strongbridge LLC is seeking a Data Warehouse Analyst/Developer to join our team in Sterling, VA. Be a part of a team whose mission it is to save lives, prevent injuries and reduce economic costs due to road traffic and crashes. Strongbridge designs, develops, operates, and maintains the systems that collect, analyze, and report all crashes that occur on U.S. roadways, identifies and tracks vehicle recall information from manufacturers, and interfaces with other agencies systems such as Federal Highways Administration (FHA) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to report specific roadway and commercial driver accident records. The systems and data that Strongbridge provides are used to derive root causes of accidents, and develop strategies to reduce accidents, injuries, and fatalities. The Data Warehouse Analyst will help support mission critical and technically progressive systems development work for the U.S. Government and the DOT and will work with a team of experienced analysts and developers to build high-performing enterprise systems. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Potential candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, be EITHER a US Citizen, Green Card holder OR EAD that does not require employer sponsorship AND have lived in the US for at least three years consecutively.

Responsibilities:

* Gather business requirements and convert them to architectural designs

* Design, develop, maintain, and support Operation data store (ODS) and DataMart processes using industry standard and best practices to enhance data load from multiple sources

* Design and implement procedures to consume data from multiple sources and ensure data quality checks are performed

* Implement overnight QC processes to ensure overnight processes are run without any data errors

* Monitor and tune data loads and queries

* Monitor operation data store (ODS) and DataMart work and provide subject matter expertise

* Participate in review, analyze, create, testing, debugging, and implementing processes

* Document technical need for the processes, databases and ensure optimal technical infrastructure is utilized

* Perform various complex tasks with minimal supervision

Required:

* 5 years of experience performing data warehouse architecture design, development and implementation

* Experience with technologies such as SQL Server, SSRS SSIS and stored procedures

* Experience developing SQL code (stored procedure, views etc.), testing for quality assurance, administering and monitoring

* Experience with Enterprise level databases

* Strong analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to make good judgement and work with both technical and business personnel

Desired:

* Work experience with Microsoft Azure

* Working knowledge of SAS
