We have an exceptional opportunity for an Audit Senior in our Atlanta, GA or our Columbus, OH office.
Responsibilities for Audit Senior
Conduct desk reviews and various on-site audits
Conduct research in order to determine billing and reimbursement compliance
Conduct all phases of the audit including planning and research, risk assessment, fieldwork, reporting of findings and other procedures, as required
Review applicable Federal or State policies and regulations associated to each specific audit type prior to performing the audit
Prepare working papers to document scope and findings of audit in accordance with government program regulations and AICPA standards
Maintain thorough electronic documentation
Requirements for Audit Senior
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
Minimum 2-5 years' experience
CPA certification is not required, but it is preferred the candidate has passed some sections of the Exam and is actively working toward completion
Demonstrated excellence in public accounting at the staff and senior levels or possess equivalent professional accomplishments and specialized knowledge/abilities
Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, data gathering, analysis, reporting and process improvement
Desire to learn and motivated to meet new challenges
