The Assembler associates atFamous Supply will be a key team member for Famous Supply's Central Distribution Center Solutions team. As a team member you will build low to mid-volume kits and assemblies for customers and participate in the development of the kitting and assembly process.

Note: Famous Supply warehouse associates will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**

* Building kits and assemblies for customers

* Learning build methods from experienced builders

* Helping develop assembly processes and best practices

* Participate in general warehouse activities that support the assembly process including picking and put-away

* Other improvement projects as assigned

**Required Experience and Skills**

* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

* Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Able and willing to learn to drive fork-lift, order picker and other similar industrial equipment (Famous will provide training).

* Basic Proficiency in standard manual and power tools- hammers, saws etc.

* Experience working in a warehouse

* Able to follow all COVID and industrial safety protocols

**Preferred Experience and Skills**

* Forklift experience

* Seeking associates with assembly experience and/ or general mechanical experience

* Familiar with basic hand tools and light-duty power tools- drills, drivers, saws etc.

* Experience using RF Scanners
