Crescent Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Global Account Director to join our award-winning Global organization.
The Global Account Director is primarily responsible for the Crescent account portfolio to maximize and drive revenues and market share to our hotels. Key to this role is creating and maintaining relationships with all accounts in the portfolio. Total Account Management is required to assess strategies that increase conversion and revenues. This position solicits, targets & develops business within the corporate transient & group market segments. It is responsible for Total Account Management (TAM) of strategic accounts for national & property support. Builds & executes a leadership role in the RFP & leads processes and establishes a strong national sales point of contact.

Responsibilities:
Cultivate new and existing accounts in assigned territory with a goal to meet and exceed expectations
Ensure accurate Account Profiles and SMART planning are strategic, executed and updated on a regular basis
Ability to travel to meet and develop strong client base
Manage strategic travel calendar. Report strong ROI
Provide strong communication skills when working with the hotels teams. Provide support in reaching targeted goals
Partner with GSO colleagues, Sales, Revenue Management & Marketing/Digital teams to develop key initiatives for corporate & property teams
Responsible for bi-monthly reporting on activities
Effectively use account management tools to track activities and identify opportunities
Represent Crescent Hotels through strategic sales calls, industry trade shows, FAMs and client events
Participate in key Crescent corporate and hotel sales meetings and calls. Actively participate in training sessions
Identify market trends and analyze market conditions to the field and identify competitive intelligence
Identify need periods and develop actions to support a hotel and/or regions
Additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent degree
Minimum of 5 years' hotel sales experience
A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Comprehensive knowledge of hotels and sales practices
Embody Crescent Sales Culture; establish culture within the Global sales teams
Develop, communicate and monitor Sales Action Plans for the hotel teams
Assist in supporting, training, coaching and monitoring sales teams within Area to achieve sales objectives and performance standards
Requires good verbal and written communication skills
Work closely with colleagues as part of a team
Knowledge of Crescent portfolio
Attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge and proactive mindset to establish and achieve goals
Able to identify and develop accounts. Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and hotel systems
Able to prioritize and organize work assignments
For applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $100-115k; for applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $100-115k; for applicants who will be working in Colorado, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $100-115k; for applicants who will be working in Washington, the anticipated compensation range is $100-115k; for applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $100-115k. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
